Jose Serra maintained his lead over Dilma Rousseff in a nationwide Datafolha presidential poll, Folha de S. Paulo reported.
The Datafolha poll gave Serra, former governor of Sao Paulo state, the support of 38 percent of voters and 28 percent for Rousseff, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s chosen heir, the newspaper said.
The poll was conducted April 15 to April 16 with a two percentage point margin of error, Folha said. Last month, Serra had the support of 36 percent of voters in the Datafolha poll, while Rousseff had 27 percent, the paper reported.
