Dilma Rousseff s administration is willing to cooperate with Venezuela in the Great Mission Housing Venezuela
Brazil’s President Dilma Rousseff will visit Caracas on July 5 for the summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), said on Tuesday Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota.
The top Brazilian diplomat said that Rousseff confirmed on Monday night, during a telephone conversation with his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chávez, that she will participate in the summit to be held in Caracas on July 5 and 6, within the framework of the bicentennial of Venezuela’s declaration of independence, according to a statement released by Venezuela’s Foreign Ministry.
Patriota and his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolás Maduro met in Brasilia, following the suspension of Chávez’s three-nation tour due to a knee injury.
Maduro said that Chávez’s “visit was suspended for reasons of force majeure” and will be “rescheduled.” Maduro expects that Chávez may visit Brazil in June.
The Venezuelan minister said that Brazil has offered to support the Great Mission Housing Venezuela.
